About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with regional and nationwide opportunities. This per diem Emergency Department role is based at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, with ongoing assignments beginning as soon as possible. The position is PRN on the night shift and pays $55 per hour. The RN must be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions. The nurse practices independently and appropriately within their license, knowledge, and experience, remains accountable for delegation and clinical decisions, and contributes to quality improvement and collaborative care. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions.
Apply the professional nursing practice process, including assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Practice independently and appropriately within the scope of licensure, knowledge, and experience.
Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
