About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides a full range of nursing practice guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and dependent upon experience, role, and the population served. The nurse assists patients in attaining or maintaining optimal health by implementing a strategy of care to accomplish defined goals within a patient-centered healthcare plan, and evaluates patients’ responses to nursing care and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide patient-centered care to help patients attain or maintain optimal health and achieve defined goals.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to nursing care and treatment.
- Meet professional performance standards, including quality practice, education and competency, professional practice evaluation, collegiality, collaboration, ethics, integration of research and best practices, resource utilization, and leadership.
