About The Position

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Inpatient Acute Rehab department in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time, day-shift position is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. The RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The nurse directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Physical Rehabilitation Department. The RN is accountable for care provided to assigned patients, responds quickly and accurately to changes in their condition or response to treatment, and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process. The compensation estimate, including wages, benefits, and other compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. Starting compensation is determined based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure. The benefits package includes paid time off, a 401(k), medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefit options.

Requirements

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
