RN (Registered Nurse) - Days - 6:00am to 2:00pm
About The Position
Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The RN advances the value that residents come first, recognizes the community as residents’ home, helps create a home-like environment, and models person-centered care. The position is scheduled for days, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan; additional pay is based on experience. Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
- Possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
