About The Position

Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants. The role requires supervision in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The RN advances the value that residents come first, recognizes the community as residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The position is on the night shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Starting pay is $38.00 per hour, with a weekend differential under the premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience. Requirements

Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
Possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
Geriatric nursing experience.
