About The Position

Newton Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The nurse advances the value that the resident comes first, respects the community as the residents’ home, helps create a home-like environment, and models person-centered care. The position is scheduled for evenings, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Starting pay is $36.00 per hour, with a weekend differential through the premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience. Requirements

Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
Possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
Geriatric nursing experience.
