About The Position

Requirements

• Florida RN license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
• Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
