Registered Nurse - PCU - Travel - $2,263/week - Ann Arbor, MI
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Surgical Stepdown Unit at an acute care hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The unit is fast-paced and clinically challenging, suited to clinicians with ICU or stepdown backgrounds. The assignment is a 13-week contract paying $2,263 per week, with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse will care for patients requiring management of high-acuity surgical devices and advanced lines, as well as monitoring and titration of continuous IV infusions. Relevant devices and lines include arterial lines, chest tubes, tracheostomies, NG tubes, PICC lines, central venous catheters, midlines, ostomies, wound vacs, and surgical drains such as JP and Hemovac. Infusions include Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, Heparin, and continuous insulin.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Michigan RN license.
- Active BLS certification.
- Active ACLS certification.
- At least 1 year of recent PCU experience.
- Experience and confidence managing high-acuity surgical devices, advanced lines, and continuous IV infusions.
