About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers compassionate, high-quality, individualized care to support patients’ well-being and recovery. The role involves making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. The RN meets discipline-specific productivity standards and demonstrates competency in patient care during field observation by the clinical supervisor. The RN completes and submits documentation according to established guidelines, ensures physician orders are present and correctly written, documents follow-up of identified problems, and reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of home health nursing experience within the past 5 years. An applicant with 1 year of acute care Med/Surg, Tele, or ICU nursing experience within the last 5 years may be considered only when adequate staffing allows.
- California Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days.
- California driver's license.
- Auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Public Health certificate.
Responsibilities
