About The Position
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA, a 112-bed facility recognized for its top-tier Cardiology services and Heart Surgery, is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team. The hospital has openings in various specialized units including C-IMCU, Cardiac Surgical Procedural IMCU, Cath Lab, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU), and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
- Virginia RN License or Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
- BLS within 90 days of hire for all Direct Care RN's
- Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN
- Previous healthcare experience
- Less than one year of experience (for Nurse Residency program)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in specialized cardiac units.
- Participate in the Nurse Residency program for new graduates, combining practical skills with hands-on training, professional development, and mentoring.
