About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Nocturnist to join our team at a Level I Trauma Center with strong in-house specialty support and a closed ICU model. We offer flexible schedules, manageable patient volumes, and innovative tools to enhance clinical efficiency. Requirements

  • Must be a Physician
  • Must be a Nocturnist
  • Must be able to work nights
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 2 weekends per month
  • Must be able to work 182 shifts per year
  • Must be able to work 7PM – 5AM or 9PM - 7AM shifts
  • Must be able to work in a team structure with 1 swing physician and 3 in-house physicians nightly
  • Must be able to work in a closed ICU model
  • Must be able to work at a Level I Trauma Center
  • Must have full in-house specialty support
  • Must adhere to clearly defined service line agreements with specialists
  • Must be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) as it is a 501c3, non-profit organization
  • Must be able to work in a tobacco-free environment

  • Optional non-procedural POCUS training (CME-supported)

Responsibilities

  • Cross-coverage of approximately 230-240 patients (team based)
  • Average of 7-8 admissions per MD per night
  • Run rapid responses (MRT)
  • Streamline documentation and improve workflow efficiency using AI-powered tools
  • Participate in holiday rotation
