About The Position

The Registered Nurse applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including patient and family education and continuity-of-care planning. The nurse communicates relevant patient and family information to the health care team, collaborates on patient goals, and evaluates progress to support effective outcomes. The role also supports professional growth through learning activities aligned with Board of Nursing standards. The position involves coordinating and implementing care delivery, anticipating patient needs across the continuum, analyzing patient information to determine nursing diagnoses, evaluating progress, and using appropriate interventions. The nurse also promotes health and maintains a safe environment. Additional duties may be assigned. The role calls for foundational proficiency in evidence-based practice, care planning, patient education, and patient assessment and evaluation. It includes conducting patient interviews and physical examinations, recognizing problems, collecting pertinent clinical data, and communicating with providers and other healthcare team members as appropriate.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
One year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
