About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Vivie, you’ll be at the heart of the community, leading clinical teams and delivering compassionate patient care while fostering meaningful connections. Whether supervising staff, coordinating complex care plans, or directly supporting patients and families, you’ll help residents live each day with dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position scheduled for 80 hours per pay period, with pay of $38–$43 based on location, qualifications, and experience. The role is in the Nursing Leadership department, has no supervisory responsibilities, and reports to the Director of Nursing or Clinical Care.

Requirements

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• Obtain CPR certification within six months of hire.
• Have clear and compassionate communication abilities.
• Know regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
• Be proficient in English to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and families.
• Pass the state-mandated background check.
• Have the physical capability to perform all essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and uphold clinical standards using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote optimal health and safety.
• Create an environment that supports high-quality physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual care while promoting patient independence and dignity.
• Establish effective communication with patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned; listed duties are representative and not necessarily all-inclusive.
