About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized wound, skin, ostomy, and continence care in patients’ homes throughout Humble, Kingwood, and surrounding communities. The nurse conducts comprehensive assessments, creates individualized care plans, performs wound treatments and dressing changes, monitors healing, and educates patients and caregivers on prevention and management. The role involves independent home health practice and collaboration with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to support healing, prevent complications, and improve patients’ quality of life.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Strong wound assessment and treatment experience.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification.
Responsibilities
