About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with wound care experience to provide specialized home-based care throughout North Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, and surrounding communities. The nurse provides advanced wound, skin, ostomy, and continence care in patients’ homes. The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, performing wound treatments and dressing changes, monitoring healing progress, and educating patients and caregivers about wound management. The nurse collaborates with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to provide coordinated care, promote healing, prevent complications, and support patients’ quality of life. The position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, continuing education opportunities, career growth, and support from experienced clinical leadership. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Strong wound assessment and treatment experience.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
