About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one home care to clients in The Woodlands, North Houston, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and confident in their daily lives, while preserving their dignity and quality of life and providing peace of mind to their families. The role offers full-time or part-time opportunities, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts typically ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving or healthcare experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current auto insurance.
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Demonstrate compassion, dependability, and respect.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance based on each client's individual needs.
- Offer companionship and support.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with mobility.
- Provide transportation.
- Perform light housekeeping.
