About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients in their homes throughout The Woodlands, Conroe, Humble, Kingwood, Cypress, Cleveland, Beaumont, and surrounding communities in Southeast Texas. Caregiving includes building relationships, providing comfort, and helping clients maintain independence at home. Visits may include companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation, and light housekeeping. Caregivers work with clients and their families to provide meaningful support and peace of mind. Assignments are available on full-time and part-time schedules, including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities. Shifts typically range from 4 to 12 hours. Requirements

At least two years of caregiving or healthcare experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
A negative TB skin test, blood test, or chest X-ray within the past year.
Valid Texas driver's license.
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Reliability, integrity, and commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized one-on-one care based on each client's needs.
Offer companionship and personal care.
Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with mobility.
Provide transportation.
Perform light housekeeping.
