Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float
About The Position
Registered Nurse position in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry float role. The nurse must be willing to float and work weekends. A 36- or 48-hour shift schedule is specified. The position requires an active California RN license at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted. An EKG exam is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to proceed with the contract. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and no time off requests are allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment. The nurse must be available to work three of five designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Flu vaccination is required, with the listed November or December dates as the only options.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience; Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience is required.
- Active California RN license at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Flu vaccination is required.
- No time off requests during the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Must work 3 out of 5 designated holidays.
- Must pass an EKG exam administered on the first day of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 3 years of experience and experience at a large facility with 400 or more beds.
Responsibilities
