About The Position

This is a contract Registered Nurse position on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) float unit in West Hollywood, California. The nurse must be able to float across MS/Tele units as assigned. The position is onsite and requires weekend work. The schedule is a day shift of 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30, with 36 or 48 hours per week. No scheduling requests can be accommodated, and requested time off is not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. The nurse must work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation, and candidates must pass to proceed with the contract. A flu vaccination is required, with no exemptions. Available start dates are November 2, November 16, and December 7; the year is not specified. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable.

Requirements

Active California RN license at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
ACLS certification.
BLS certification.
At least 2 years of MS/Tele experience.
Ability to float across units.
Availability to work weekends as required.
Flu vaccination; no exemptions are permitted.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship or visa transfer is not available.
First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience and experience at a facility with 400 beds or more.
Must pass the EKG exam administered on the first day of orientation.
