Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float
About The Position
Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry float role. The position requires floating between units. Candidates must have an active California RN license at the time of submission, and no scheduling requests can be accommodated. No requested time off is allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment. Nurses must be available to work three of five designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. An EKG exam is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to proceed with the contract. Flu vaccination is required for the listed start dates: 11/2, 11/16, and 12/7.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience; Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience is required.
- Active California RN license at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Must pass the EKG exam administered on the first day of orientation to proceed with the contract.
- Must be available to work 3 out of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Nice To Haves
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 3 years of experience and experience in a large facility of 400 beds or larger.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings.
- Float between units as required.
- Work weekends and the required holiday schedule.
