Registered Nurse (Orange)
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to complete initial assessments and supervisory visits for clients receiving personal care services in their homes in Orange, Louisa, and surrounding areas of Virginia. This PRN opportunity offers a flexible schedule, with visits planned around the nurse’s availability. The role does not involve bedside shifts or hands-on skilled nursing. Compensation is per visit or task: $65 per initial client assessment, $55 per six-month reassessment, $30 for a missed visit when the client is not home, $30 for an in-service or training class, $20 for an occasional aide clinical orientation, and $20 per hour for office or administrative work. An additional $5 per visit is offered for clients located more than 30 miles from the office.
Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license or a compact license valid in Virginia.
- At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
