About The Position

Northcrest Specialty Care, a skilled nursing and long-term care community located in Waterloo, IA, is now hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) for our evening shift (2PM–10PM). Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Iowa (or ability to obtain)
Current CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred (not required)
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing / long-term care (LTC) setting
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
Support daily clinical operations while ensuring resident safety and quality outcomes
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
