NorthCrest Specialty Care, a 94-bed long-term care skilled nursing community located in Waterloo, IA, is now hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) for our evening shift (2PM–10PM). Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Iowa (or ability to obtain)
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident‑centered approach to care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing / long‑term care (LTC) setting
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
  • Support daily clinical operations while ensuring resident safety and quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members
  • Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs
  • Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
