Registered Nurse - Inpatient Services
About The Position
Fort HealthCare is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Registered Nurse to join its Inpatient Services Team, caring for a wide variety of patients, from pediatrics to adults and critical care, in communities throughout Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth counties. The nurse will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. The position offers varied scheduling options, up to 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period, and opportunities for training, mentorship, and professional development. Fort HealthCare also offers a Nurse Residency Program for new and transitioning nurses, a Shared Governance Program, and a Clinical Pathway Program for career advancement.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions.
- Create and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families about treatments, recovery, and wellness.
