This role is in a 30-bed Medical Cardiopulmonary unit with an 8-bed Pulmonary Acute intermediate/progressive care unit. The unit provides RNs with fundamental critical care experience in mechanical ventilation while building a strong nursing foundation focused on safe patient outcomes. RNs work independently and collaboratively with a motivated team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients and families. The interdisciplinary team includes case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, and specialty providers. The role supports ongoing collaboration and learning, with training and education designed to integrate evidence-based practices and develop the skills needed throughout an RN’s career.
