About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality, individualized care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• At least one year of RN experience upon hire.
• Texas Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days.
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations, or meets experience requirements upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide holistic nursing care; notify physicians of significant changes.
• Develop, direct, and evaluate individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Prepare patients for procedures, implement physician orders, and follow patient safety protocols, including medication administration.
• Reassess patient responses to interventions, adapt care to changing needs, and communicate with physicians about needed modifications.
• Use Bedside Shift Report, provide thorough patient updates, and delegate tasks to support seamless care transitions.
• Maintain a safe patient and work environment, promptly address hazards, and contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
