About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery provides direct patient care using the nursing process and in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The role serves patients across the lifespan, from neonates through older adults, and reports to the Director or Manager of Department. The position is full-time on days at Highpoint Health Riverview, a 25-bed hospital in Carthage, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS required.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting or moving patients, and repetitive hand and arm movements are required.
• The position involves occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.
