About The Position

As a Clinic Registered Nurse at Froedtert South, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic and build meaningful relationships with patients over time. The role includes assessing patient needs, triaging concerns, providing education, administering medications, and coordinating care with providers and the healthcare team. It offers a consistent weekday schedule, described as Monday–Friday.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN license or eligibility to practice as an RN in Wisconsin and/or Illinois, based on job location.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Assess patient needs and use clinical judgment to determine appropriate care and follow-up.
• Triage patient concerns by phone and direct patients to the appropriate level of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their care and health needs.
• Facilitate diagnostic testing and follow-up care as ordered by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in a variety of situations.
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to support safe, high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications.
