About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides safe, quality patient care using critical-thinking skills and the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role also assists in organizing patient-care activities as assigned. This is a full-time day-shift position. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, paid over 24 months.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within 90 days.
- NIH certification within 60 days.
- EKG certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical condition, skin, pain, fall risk, medications, and discharge needs, and provide appropriate interventions.
- Develop and implement a plan of care on admission using assessment data.
- Provide education to patients and families.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to interventions.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Assist in organizing patient-care activities.
