About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The role provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a full-time night-shift position in Neuro Critical Care, with hours from 1900 to 0700. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. It includes an adult Level I Trauma Center and a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center serving southern Dallas. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 6 months of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
