About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Neuro Critical Care provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a full-time night position at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, with hours listed as 1845–0715. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. The facility is home to an adult Level I Trauma Center and a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 6 months of RN work experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
