About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Neuro Critical Care provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. The position is full-time on nights, with hours from 1845 to 0715.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
