About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed care to patients and families at the competent level, using nursing process principles and practices. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This is a PRN Labor and Delivery position. The schedule is 12 weekly hours, with a choice of working 24 or 48 hours per six-week period.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Registered nurse licensure from the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or a recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Ability to meet the described physical and mental job requirements, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and working rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
