About The Position
Join the team as a night-shift, PRN Post Surgical Orthopedics Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame. The RN provides direct patient care through the nursing process and is responsible for the care environment, instrumentation, and management of other healthcare team members. Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service, 180-bed facility in south Tulsa offering inpatient and outpatient services. It is the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence in Oklahoma and Tulsa’s only ANCC-designated Pathway to Excellence hospital. The hospital also has an accredited nurse residency program and ANCC recognition for Nursing Continuing Professional Development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- At least one year of experience as an RN.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Med Surg experience.
- ACLS certification.
