About The Position
Join the team as a full-time, night-shift Post Surgical Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Tyler, Texas. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system and serves hundreds of thousands of people annually. Its Midtown location specializes in advanced acute care and includes a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. The medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN License.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
