About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a part-time night-shift opportunity. The Emergency Department provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role is suited to an experienced nurse passionate about emergency medicine, teamwork, and achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Hospital experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), TNCC, or NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with emergent conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services to support optimal outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and support their safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and continuous quality improvement.
