About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department at Baptist & Wolfson Town Center Emergency Room, located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a part-time night-shift opportunity. The nurse provides care to patients with medical, surgical, and other conditions; educates patients and families about disease processes and plans of care; collaborates with physicians and hospital departments; coordinates ancillary services; and advocates for patients. The role also involves upholding the hospital mission and participating in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Hospital experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) certification.
• Conscious Sedation certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, or other conditions.
