About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Post Surgical department at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, delivers holistic, high-quality nursing care in accordance with clinical standards and organizational protocols. The nurse develops and monitors personalized care plans, coordinates communication among physicians, specialists, and other disciplines, and observes, documents, and promptly communicates changes in patient condition.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained before the hire or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care consistent with clinical standards and organizational protocols.
• Initiate, implement, and continually monitor personalized patient care plans, adapting them to changing patient needs.
• Coordinate communication among physicians, specialists, and other disciplines to support a unified patient care journey.
• Observe and document patient conditions, promptly report changes, and respond decisively to clinical findings.
