About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Cardiac Stepdown department at Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This part-time, day-shift role involves providing and coordinating individualized patient care, monitoring and documenting patient status, carrying out clinician orders and nursing protocols, and planning for safe patient discharge or transition to another level of care.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or professional licensure at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement, evaluate, and modify individualized patient care plans to support the best possible outcomes.
• Monitor patients, accurately document their status, and promptly communicate changes to the care team.
• Advocate for patients and protect their interests.
• Coordinate care across medical disciplines to support a seamless, unified patient experience.
• Carry out physician and advanced practice provider orders and specialized nursing protocols.
• Assess patient discharge needs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan a safe transition home or to another level of care.
