About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Tele for an acute care hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is a 13-week assignment with one opening. The schedule is nights, four 12-hour shifts per week, from 18:45 to 7:15. The assignment begins November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,747. Eligible travelers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for this location. The unit has a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and an average daily census of 23. Floating is required. The assignment accepts first-time travelers; step-down experience is preferred. Overtime is specified as 40 total hours in one week: 1%.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license; a compact license is accepted where applicable.
- At least 2 years of recent Cardiac Tele experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIH certification.
Nice To Haves
- Step-down experience.
- Previous travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted.
