About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice provides hospice care in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care. The role coordinates care, continuously assesses the needs of patients and families, and implements the interdisciplinary care plan while ensuring care complies with federal and state regulations. The position requires a current state nursing license, at least one year of experience as a licensed professional, CPR certification, technology skills, and the ability to drive reliably to provide care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
• Licensed in the state where they currently practice.
• At least one year of experience as a licensed professional.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• CPR certification for the healthcare provider.

Nice To Haves

• Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
• Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with review and approval from regional and executive service line clinical leadership.
