About The Position

McCulloh Consulting is hiring a Women's Services Registered Nurse in Chimney Rock, North Carolina. The nurse will care for mothers, newborns, and families through labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and antepartum care, working with a supportive clinical team in a community-focused hospital. The role offers three 12-hour night shifts per week, with rotating weekends, and clinical exposure to Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina RN license or qualifying compact license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS required.
• Clinical competencies/certifications include NRP, ACLS, PALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, and Handle With Care.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Women's Services or Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and antepartum admissions.
• Assess maternal and newborn patients, develop care plans, and monitor progress.
• Support high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, medication administration, and newborn care.
• Assist with cesarean recovery, newborn treatments, and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to deliver safe, compassionate care.
