About The Position

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital & Healthcare Center is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to float among the medical/surgical and emergency department units. The role is part of an independent health system focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care and service to the local community. The pay rate is $34.52–$47.05 per hour, dependent on experience, with an additional $2.00 per hour for a BSN and an additional $1.00 per hour for approved certifications. The position is based in Newberry, Michigan.

Requirements

• RN license in good standing for the State of Michigan.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, or obtain them within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to remain calm and function effectively during emergent, urgent, or unexpected events.
• Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and tactful when interacting with others.
