Registered Nurse (RN) Float - Med/Surg/ED Float
About The Position
Helen Newberry Joy Hospital & Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to float between the Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department areas. The role is part of an independent health system serving the Newberry, Michigan community. Pay is $34.52–$47.05 per hour, dependent on experience. An additional $2.00 per hour is offered for a BSN degree, and an additional $1.00 per hour is offered for approved certifications.
Requirements
- Michigan RN license in good standing.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, or obtain them within six months of hire.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and tactful when interacting with others.
- Ability to remain calm.
- Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent, or unexpected events.
- Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
