Registered Nurse (Travel) - MS/Tele Float - $2,099/wk - Wilmington, NC
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for an acute care hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is a medical-surgical/telemetry float-pool assignment supporting ED holding, where patients are waiting for an inpatient bed. The nurse may float as needed and may care for PCU patients. No call is required. The assignment is a 13-week contract beginning November 16, 2026, with one opening. The night shift is three 12-hour shifts, from 18:45 to 7:15. Weekly pay is $2,099; eligible nurses may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,526 per week. The stated overtime detail is 1% for 40 total hours in one week.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license; compact licenses are accepted where applicable.
- At least 2 years of recent MS/Tele Float experience.
- MS/Tele and ER holding experience.
- Travel experience.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
Nice To Haves
- CPI certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the MS/Tele float pool, including support for ED holding patients awaiting inpatient beds.
- Float as needed, including the possibility of caring for PCU patients.
- Work every other weekend and be available to work holidays.
