Registered Nurse - Neurology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. The nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to support positive outcomes for patients and their families, while supporting patients, families, and the healthcare team. The position is on the Neurology Unit at St. John Hospital, a 22-bed neuro step-down unit specializing in neurology patients and cardiac overflow. The unit cares for patients following interventions such as thrombectomy, TNK, and stents, and is trained to manage cardiac drips. It is a closed unit with private rooms that have built-in Avasys virtual safety monitoring cameras. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role scheduled for 36 hours per week: three 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with rotation every other weekend and observed holiday.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
