About The Position

Coordinates and performs effective patient care utilizing the nursing process and accepted standards of care. The role requires specialty-area nursing skills and successful implementation of nursing knowledge and the nursing process. On-call coverage is required, with a 45-minute response time. This position requires Physical Abilities Testing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in Missouri; graduate nurses must obtain licensure within three months of graduation.
• Maintain basic life support validation.
• Successfully implement nursing knowledge and the nursing process.
• Demonstrate skill in the area of specialty.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required, or obtain them within six months of hire.
• Complete Physical Abilities Testing.
