About The Position

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to support an ambulatory primary care clinic. The role focuses on telephonic patient triage and clinical decision support, helping patients achieve successful outcomes by assessing calls and coordinating care. The RN provides clinical guidance, determines appropriate levels of care, escalates concerns as needed, and documents in the EPIC/OCHIN electronic medical record system. The position is located in Minneapolis and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Experience with the EPIC/OCHIN electronic medical record system.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple calls and priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Prior phone triage, in-person triage, or phone-based nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based nursing triage and clinical guidance.
• Assess symptoms, determine the appropriate level of care, and escalate as needed.
• Use clinical protocols and documentation systems.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to support patient outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care, including medication refills, home care, and durable medical equipment.
• Document necessary information using the EPIC/OCHIN electronic medical record system.
