About The Position

Primary Care at Pease is a full-service practice providing comprehensive care for individuals and families, with board-certified family medicine and internal medicine providers. Located at Pease Tradeport, the practice also offers on-site laboratory and imaging services. As a patient-centered medical home, it emphasizes coordinated, individualized care delivered by a consistent team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other specialized providers. The role is a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse position working onsite at the practice, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The primary responsibility is phone triage, with occasional nurse visits as needed. The RN provides compassionate outpatient patient care and support, assists with procedures, and collaborates in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing.
Registered Nurse (RN) state license.
Clinical nursing experience of 0–1 year.
Experience cannot be substituted for a degree.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ambulatory care or outpatient experience of 1–2 years.
Phone triage experience.
Primary care experience.
EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and support while maintaining high nursing standards.
Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and assist with outpatient procedures while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide phone triage as the primary responsibility and conduct occasional nurse visits as needed.
