About The Position
Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for its primary care practice in Rowley, Massachusetts. The onsite, 20-hour-per-week role includes telephone triage and nurse visits as needed. The nurse provides compassionate patient care and support in an outpatient setting, assists with procedures, and collaborates in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. The position follows a daytime schedule: Monday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Wednesday 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. The practice is located at 414 Haverhill Street, Rowley, MA 01969.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse state license.
- 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience cannot be substituted for the required degree.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1–2 years of ambulatory care or outpatient experience.
- Primary care RN experience.
- EPIC experience.
- Phone triage experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and support while maintaining high nursing standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist with outpatient procedures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide telephone triage and nurse visits as needed.
